A place conceived in loving-kindness to help, reach-out, and connect families; to inspire, motivate and even validate the journey you find yourself on; to be a source of hope and a safe haven.
Our mission is to address the addictive climate of our times through providing information on this site for individuals, families, and children to seek intervention, education and professional guidance to overcome the ravages addiction. We accomplish this goal by focusing on advocacy initiatives that increase awareness about the disease of addiction, create fundraising programs for organizations that help people and families struggling with this issue, and through providing addiction resources so you can get the help you need.
Our initial advocacy initiative focuses on increasing awareness of, and lessoning the shame and potential impact of addiction on individuals, families, and loved ones who are struggling with the disease of addiction.
Our website is all about providing you with information about Living with Addiction, promoting upcoming Events and Activities that can help, and opening our hearts so you can find common understanding by Sharing our Story.
It is our goal to support and collaborate with various addiction-based non-profits and charities through participating in their fund-raising events and sharing information. We are currently raising funds for the Phoenix House Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation Center (Ronkonkoma, NY); running Book Drives for those living in local rehabilitation homes; and are participating in charitable events for the Hope House Ministries (Port Jefferson, NY).
In the future, we hope to bring in meditation and yoga for those living in rehabilitation centers and provide contact and process information for those seeking counseling, detox, rehabilitation centers and/or supportive 12 step communities.
for your Support!
We are involved with local businesses and recovery centers to share the story of Bryan’s battle with the disease of addiction and to create connections with those who are living the journey of loving someone who is struggling with addiction and those who are in the midst of battling their disease. Through our networking efforts, we will continually be posting addiction resources on our website to help you be better prepared and educated on the options available.
