To Write Love On Her Arms

To Write Love On Her ArmsFounded in March 2006, this nonprofit tackles a wide range of addiction and mental health issues including drug and alcohol abuse, depression, self-harm and thoughts of suicide. It originally began with the goal of funding drug treatment for then 19-year-old Renee Wohe, but has gone on to raise millions of dollars for worthy organizations across the world. Partnering with universities, social networking sites, and even music festivals like the Vans Warped Tour, they have used the added exposure to try and promote existing professional health organization rather than replace them. A portion of every donation goes to programs including Hopeline and, as well as their own original programs such as the high school-focused campaign “The Storytellers.” Celebrities including Miley Cyrus, Joaquin Phoenix and pop band OneRepublic have all endorsed their work.  Click here for more >>>
